IT Director - Global Infrastructure and Support
Reports to: VP Global Information Technology
Direct Reports: Global Infrastructure team, Manager IT Support, Manager Security
Primary Responsibility: Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for implementation and advancement of technology infrastructure, computer networks, cyber security, and software systems. Ensuring excellent customer service to the user community. The Director will provide strategy for secure, stable, standardized, and scalable systems and support for evolving Maxcess technology requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other departments to decide technology needs and develop solution roadmaps to support business goals.
- Evaluates innovative technologies and makes recommendations for adoption or improvement.
- Develops and manages the department Capex and Opex budgets.
- Provide guidance and direction to staff and other departments on issues related to Infrastructure, Support, and Cyber Security.
- Ensures robust disaster recovery capabilities based on defined business continuity plans. Facilitate regular testing and updates to the program.
- Plan and manage technology projects to ensure business systems are secure and stable.
- Ensure staff development and structure are in line with company technology goals.
- Develop and implement policies and processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Identify, research, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Define strategy and implement systems to exceed security standards and provide redundance for 7/24/365 business technology services.
- Implement cost-effective, secure hybrid cloud technology roadmap.
- Develop strong partnerships with department leaders and peers.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- 10 years’ experience in a similar leadership role.
- Experience managing global teams.
- Experience with International compliance frameworks i.e., GDRP etc.
- Experience collaborating with global vendors setting up cost effective purchasing and services contracts.
- Experience implementing cyber security frameworks and managing the cyber security function.
- Effective communication skills. Proficiency in English required.
- Proven leadership and team development and motivation skills.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Hybrid position at one of our U.S. locations: Eureka MO, Oklahoma City, OK, Oak Brook IL, or Neenah, WI
- 5-20% travel required – Primarily domestic
Job Qualifications and Experience (Preferred):
- Knowledge of firewalls and system administration tools, network topology, and management of global network configuration.
- Experience managing and configuring global phone systems and mobile device networks.
- Knowledge of and experience with core business applications such as ERP, MRP, DW and cloud-based software tools.
- Have a working architectural knowledge of software applications and the systems on which those applications run.
- Experience implementing AI and machine learning technologies.
- Experience with IT/OT segmentation technologies and processes.
