Purchasing Specialist

In our factory in Fałkowo, we are currently looking for Purchasing Specialist.

Main responsibilities :

• Reviewing material requirements, including raw materials and finished goods, to support production. 

• Collaborating with suppliers to meet production schedule deadlines. 

• Negotiating pricing, delivery, and contract terms. 

• Analyzing safety stock to maximize inventory turnover and eliminate downtime. 

• Maintaining and improving relationships with key suppliers, with a particular focus on reducing and improving lead times. 

• Identifying and implementing cost-saving projects, including manufacturing vs. purchasing cost analysis, purchasing vs. JIT cost analysis, and cost analysis across the entire supply chain in a high-mix, low-volume, non-standard environment. 

Required skills :

• University degree in economics or engineering with at least 3 years of experience in purchasing and supply in the manufacturing sector. 

• English language skills at a minimum B1 level are required. 

• Proficiency in using the proALPHA or similar ERP system. 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office. 

• Interpersonal skills required for collaboration with departments and cross-functional teams. 

• Ability to independently solve problems. 

• Flexibility and willingness to help others as needs and tasks change. 

• Stress tolerance and the ability to work under time pressure.
