Coating Booth Operator (Thermo Spray) - 2nd Shift

Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for prepping the aluminum surface of the rollers and applying proprietary spray coatings rollers. You will ensure each product meets our high-quality standards before shipping to customers. You will work closely with our production and quality teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in the coating process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain spray booth equipment in accordance with company standards
  • Prepare parts for thermo spray coating process, including masking, cleaning, and surface preparation with shot blast media
  • Handle coating materials safely and accurately when preparing and applying all materials
  • Monitor coating process parameters to ensure quality and consistency
  • Identify visual defects at the end of each coating process.
  • Perform set ups and inspections of coated parts using appropriate measuring tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and environmental guidelines
  • Clean and maintain all masking and racking equipment.
  • Operate hoist and electrical lift to safely transport parts through production process.
