Primary Responsibilities

• Assist customers with testing needs in Maybell MayQ labs
• Provide leadership and partnership to customers in the conception, design, development and refinement of superconducting quantum systems
• Understand customer needs and translate it into product development for Maybell
• Demonstrate cutting edge quantum hardware systems in our MayQ labs, including cryogenic systems, qubit control, and metrology
• Assist customers with the implementation and debugging of their experimental setups
• Partner with engineers to translate innovations into functional prototypes and production-ready products
• Characterize Maybell and partner organization products
• Model, develop, and test new cryogenic, RF, and control hardware

Qualifications

• PhD in applied physics, or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years working experience with quantum devices and dilution refrigerators
• Expertise in quantum measurement and control
• Experience with python
• Self-starter with ability to drive results independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
