We are seeking an experienced Cryogenic Systems Integration Engineer to lead the development and integration of centralized cooling systems for next-generation quantum computers. Successful candidates will have a strong background in systems engineering, with experience in cryogenics systems and facility design.
Primary Responsibilities
- High-Level System Architecture: Develop and validate high-level system architectures for centralized cryogenic cooling systems, ensuring performance and reliability across all operational scenarios.
- System Integration: Design and implement the integration of several cryogenic systems, including cryogen transfer lines, sensors, dewars, etc.
- Interdependency Analysis: Analyze and manage interdependencies between cryogenic sensors and other devices.
- Facility Layout Design: Utilize facility layout tools such as AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed and accurate designs for cryogenic cooling infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including cryogenic, mechanical, and controls engineers, to ensure successful system integration and deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably with a focus on cryogenics or other large-scale cooling systems.
- Proficiency in facility layout tools such as AutoCAD and Revit for creating and validating system designs.
- Strong understanding of multi-physics modeling, including thermal, electrical, and mechanical interactions in complex systems.
- Experience with control systems design and integration, particularly in cryogenic or large-scale industrial applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex interdisciplinary challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating technical documentation and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Compensation
Base Salary: $120,000/yr - $180,000/yr depending on experience and qualifications, with additional compensation in equity and bonus.
