We're seeking an exceptional Strategy & Operations Associate to join our high-caliber business operations team. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives at a fast-growing deep tech startup with significant market potential. You'll work directly with leadership on high-impact projects that shape our people operations and communication strategies while supporting our growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Communications: Prepare high-impact presentations for board meetings, investor updates, fundraising as well as customer presentations; distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives
  • People Operations Strategy: Partner with leadership to develop and implement people strategies that attract, retain, and develop top talent in a competitive market
  • Organizational Design: Support the design and evolution of team structures as the company scales; identify opportunities to optimize workflows between teams
  • Culture & Engagement: Help shape and maintain company culture through strategic initiatives, programs, and communication
  • Talent Analytics: Build analytical frameworks to measure recruitment effectiveness, employee engagement, and organizational health; develop executive dashboards that drive data-informed people decisions
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership on quarterly and annual planning processes, including OKR development and resource allocation
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between technical and business teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm with a track record of exceptional performance
  • Bachelor's degree from a leading institution
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and communications
  • Strong understanding of talent management principles and best practices
  • Excellent data visualization and storytelling capabilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Polished presentation style with the ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences
  • Adaptability and comfort operating in ambiguity
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for emerging technologies
  • Direct experience in hardware, deep tech, or quantum industries is not required but would be advantageous

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • You're a strategic thinker with 3-4 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte S&O, etc.) looking to transition into a high-growth technology environment where you can make a tangible impact. You excel at synthesizing complex information into compelling narratives, have exceptional communication capabilities, and can translate strategic vision into actionable plans. Your polished presentation skills allow you to influence stakeholders at all levels.
