Validation Technician

The Validation Technician will focus on the execution and continuous improvement of system-level validation and qualification processes for commercial quantum refrigeration systems. This role is central to the release of quality products to our customers.
The Technical will work across hardware, controls, and manufacturing systems to ensure products meet performance, reliability, and production readiness requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform qualification testing including full product evaluations, subsystem verification, and pre-shipment validation.
- Assemble, wire, and test hardware systems, operate lab equipment and troubleshoot and repair hardware and component-level issues.
- Maintain work area organization, inventory, and equipment calibration.
- Support CAPA activities including data collection and documentation.
- Perform basic statistical analysis and data reporting.
- Maintain relevant documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Meet or exceed all company safety procedures and standards with the understanding that all injuries are preventable through appropriate risk reduction.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in engineering, physics, or related technical field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Basic understanding of equipment control software interfaces. Windows / Office / Linux software experience.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Familiarity with CAD software, such as OnShape and GD&T standards.
- Familiarity with automated test systems (Python, LabVIEW, or similar).
- Knowledge of QMS frameworks (ISO 9001), validation methodologies, and documentation practices
- Experience with cryogenic systems, refrigeration, or complex hardware systems (highly desirable)
- Exposure to MES / manufacturing data systems (Tulip, Cin7, etc.)

- This is a non-exempt position with the potential for overtime work spanning weekends and/or extension beyond a standard day shift schedule, as business needs require. The targeted pay range for this position is $25-$35/hour based on experience.
