NOTICE OF JOB OPPORTUNITY
Autonomy Engineer(s)
Responsibilities: Design, develop and test robotics software and system requirements for AV company. Duties may include: Work with cross functional teams to develop robotics software and system requirements. Participate in team code quality activities including design and code reviews. Develop and test state-of-the-art robotics software in C. Work independently with cross-functional teams to develop software and system requirements. Design, implement, and test state-of-the-art perception features on time with high quality, industrial grade production code stack. Track and Trend technical performance of perception in the field. Lead major feature development including feature design, code reviews, issue diagnosis, and resolution focusing on sensor fusion and tracking systems. Lead extensive testing to validate features and satisfy releases schedule. Lead development relate to data, development, and ML pipeline. May telecommute. Domestic travel to client sites to test product required approx. 4x a year.
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 6 months of work experience as a Robotics Engineer, Autonomy Engineer, or a related occupation. In lieu of six months of work experience, employer will also accept course work, internships or projects that document knowledge of the required skills.
Salary Range: $128,000-$192,000/year, 40 hrs per wk.
