As a Vice President on the team, you will lead some of our biggest and most exciting beauty/personal care brands. You’ll be responsible for the growth of account(s) as well as the development and execution of client programs. You’ll possess expert client relations skills, people and agency management skills, financial acumen, and marketing savvy to sell in new projects and identify new business, lead presentations, and guide your brands to success. You’ll also manage an amazing, passionate and talented team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the beauty industry and the trends driving the business, as well as an overall eye on the cultural landscape to identify opportunities to help your brands connect to consumers.

  • A critical thinker who goes beyond the surface level, and has exceptional problem-resolution skills, including the ability to think strategically, as well as creatively and outside the box
  • Experience working as part of an integrated agency team and connecting the dots between marketing disciplines (PR, Influencer, Organic Social, Paid) to ensure plans are cohesive and deliver the most impact
  • Ability to drive annual planning and create planning decks that tell a clear story, connect strategy to creative and have measurable results

What You’ll Do 

  • Be client relationship lead, and serve as a trusted voice and advisor
  • Dissect client business objectives/goals and craft strategies that achieve those goals in a disruptive fashion
  • See the future - ID the trends, people, brands that are relevant and complement the clients and work we do  
  • Develop strategic recommendations and sell-in programming (across both influencer and PR)
  • Manage a team and all workflow across the full account, including overseeing all programs and managing the budgeting and staffing of the business 
  • Strengthen relations with and bring relevant tastemakers, brand partners and influencers into the fold on a programmatic and ad hoc basis
  • Report on competitive brand and lifestyle trends to clients; demonstrate ability to be nimble and develop one-of-a-kind “ways in” for brands harnessing these trends 

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years of marketing experience; experience with beauty, skin, and personal care brands a must
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in consumer marketing specifically:  traditional public relations, large integrated programming, and influencer marketing/strategy (organic and paid)
    • Experience in influencer marketing - from strategy to execution, including tastemaker/influencer ID, negotiation and activation management 
    • Experience in public relations – traditional media, digital, and nuanced integrated campaigns
  • Proven ability to lead projects, communicate effectively, think strategically and build of-the-moment and future-forward collaborations that transcend culture 
  • Ability to “roll with it” and be nimble when there are changes to pathways and needs to counsel on pivots 
  • Ability to counsel and provide ongoing strategic POVs 
  • Ability to command a room and get stakeholder buy-in from multiple channels 
  • Experience managing budgets, reviewing client invoices and resource allocation
  • Ability to oversee the professional development of and mentor members of your team 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to travel and be in person with clients in their office, at events, and activations (this is required) 
  • SALARY: $135,000 - $165,000

Requirements: 

  • 8-10 Years of total experience within the PR space
  • Expert-level client relations skills
  • Have a strong sense of gravitas and the ability to command a room and be a strong vocal point of contact
  • Deep client networks that span multiple verticals
  • Maintain a POV for clients and be strategic in how to relay said POV

Location: NYC or Tri-State area with access to our office 2 days a week.
