Our ever-growing Consumer Lifestyle team has an immediate opening for a Digital Strategist to help with several well-known brands in the food and appliance spaces.

This is an excellent opportunity for a digital/influencer professional who wants to be part of a fun-loving team that encourages critical thinking as much as creativity (aka the best of both worlds!). We’re looking for someone who has 4-6+ years of a mixture of social media and influencer experience, and that will bring energy, excitement and passion to the position.

What You’ll Do:

As a Digital Strategist, you’ll be helping drive key influencer initiatives and owned social channels for a few brands within the Consumer Lifestyle space, with a lot of opportunity for growth and visibility. You’ll manage all aspects of organic social media channels for your brands, from development of strategies to oversight of execution, collaborating with other paid media, and PR leads to ensure holistic programming. You’ll lead and inspire junior staffers who will support in content calendar creation as well as community management; serve as a client counselor; and, most importantly, work with a very talented, very collaborative, and inspiring team that will have your back no matter what. In this diverse role, you may help accelerate a brand channels across TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.  You will source new content from creators, manage UGC and map all content to the larger communications calendar. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop organic social strategy and overall content strategy for brands
  • Develop and facilitate creative ideation to ensure we’re getting social-first content for our brands
  • Manage a team of junior staff to ensure that they are proactively managing the social channels - from community management to flagging any trending conversations
  • Share Social Media POVs and real-time updates to make sure your clients are “in the know”
  • Actively providing digital updates with Lifestyle team with the opportunity to take lead on client POVs that can be repurposed for clients across the practice
  • Potential to support on influencer work from strategy build to relationship management to reporting
  • Working with junior teammates on campaigns and serve as their coach in the influencer space

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of digital/social experience working in an agency setting or in-house
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of 1-2 direct reports
  • Strong foundation in community management, calendar and content strategy, social reporting
  • Experience in managing/working with third party influencer vendors/networks
  • Solid understanding of paid digital and owned practices; experience working in an integrated agency (IAT) setting is a plus
  • Experience in client management, and proven ability to lead client communications
  • Strong writing skills inclusive of social copy
  • Strong analytical skills and experience tracking and interpreting data
  • Proven ability to effectively organize multiple deadlines across accounts and teams
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a team-oriented environment
  • Creative, strategic thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Your a culture-first thinker - excited about where the social and influencer spaces are headed
  • Positive and flexible attitude

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with influencer management as well as influencer tools, such as Tagger
  • Experience and/or passion for Wine/Spirits/CPG brand
  • In touch with cultural and industry trends

Location: New York office

We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event.
