Director, Product & Corporate Comms

New York, NY

Director, Product + Corporate Communications

About Us:

We’re not your typical agency. In fact, we don’t want to be. At M Booth Health, we take pride in doing what’s right, not what’s easy. Asking the difficult questions and finding unexpected answers. Pushing ourselves and our clients to think bigger. Moving beyond imposed limits to break through and create real connection.

We live our brand promise: Choose to Challenge. We're built to help organizations and brands challenge norms, drive results and improve the health and lives of those who need it most.

We believe health communications can change the world. Why? Because we’ve done it before. We’ve been at the forefront of advancing some of the most urgent issues in public health and medicine for decades. Our teams are purpose-built to challenge the status quo and drive results–both for our clients and for the health and well-being of people around the world.

M Booth Health’s growth has allowed for the building of a dynamic team of agency veterans and new talent with a broad range of backgrounds to match our diverse client mix, which is comprised of leading pharma, biotech, device & diagnostics and health tech companies, as well as payors.

Who You Are:

We want people who are just as passionate about health as we are. People who are serious about the work, but not too serious to have some fun while doing it. Candidates who bring big thinking and even bigger ambition; who are willing to push boundaries and challenge norms. And most importantly, who lead with kindness and humanity above all else. Does that sound like you?

We are actively seeking a Director, Product & Corporate Communications to join our Marketing Communications practice. This role focuses on leading product communications for pharmaceutical and biotech clients, while also supporting broader corporate communications, reputation, and patient advocacy and engagement efforts. It is a senior, client-facing role for someone who understands how regulatory milestones, clinical data, and product narratives shape corporate brand and trust.

This role is part strategist, part operator, and full-time leader. You can counsel senior clients, orchestrate complex workstreams, and inspire teams to deliver bold, high-quality work in fast-moving environments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Leadership

  • Serve as the day-to-day client support for product communications work across one or more pharmaceutical or biotech accounts.
  • Lead communications around clinical data readouts, regulatory submissions and decisions, approvals, label updates, and other major product milestones.
  • Develop and execute product communications strategies that translate complex data into clear, differentiated narratives grounded in patient relevance and unmet need.
  • Ensure product communications are aligned with broader corporate brand and reputation narratives.
  • Integrate patient advocacy and engagement considerations into product and corporate communications – ensuring patient perspectives strengthen credibility, trust and long-term commitment.
  • Counsel clients on timing, risk, and opportunity around regulatory, data-driven, and patient-facing moments.
  • Partner closely with medical, legal, regulatory, and compliance teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee development of core materials, including press releases, Q&A, backgrounders, messaging, and executive prep – ensuring consistency across product, corporate, and advocacy-adjacent narratives.

Business Leadership

  • Support development of scopes of work, staffing plans, and budgets.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within existing clients related to product lifecycle communications.
  • Contribute to new business efforts, including pitch development and participation as needed.
  • Help evolve the agency’s product communications offering by sharing best practices and POVs.
  • Ensure high-quality, efficient delivery of work that strengthens client relationships and retention.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor junior team members, setting clear expectations and providing actionable feedback.
  • Review work to ensure accuracy, strategic rigor, and client-ready quality.
  • Partner with senior leaders on staffing and resourcing across product workstreams.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.
  • Model strong leadership behaviors and uphold the agency’s values and DE&I commitments.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6+ years of experience in a public relations agency, with deep experience in pharmaceutical or biotech product and corporate communications.
  • Experience in Oncology is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in regulatory milestones, clinical data communications, and product launches.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment and experience working with MLR partners.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, credible communications.
  • Experience integrating product communications into broader corporate communications strategies.
  • Working knowledge of patient advocacy and engagement approaches, and an understanding of how patient perspectives can strengthen trust, credibility and long-term corporate reputation.
  • Strong client management, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing teams and multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments.
  • A demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and to creating environments where people can do their best work.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
