What You’ll Do
As a Paralegal, you’ll work closely with attorneys and clients to provide critical legal support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate opening of estates for administration
- Coordinate with executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and financial institutions to gather and organize necessary information
- Prepare Pennsylvania inheritance tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns
- Prepare estate inventories, estate accounting, and trust accountings
- Track and manage estate timelines and client communications
- Communicate directly with attorneys and clients regarding estate and trust administration matters
- Manage multiple projects d deadlines with precision and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
- Paralegal Certificate or Associate’s degree in a relevant field preferred
- Experience in preparation of Pennsylvania inheritance tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns
- Experience in preparation of federal estate tax returns and federal gift tax returns a plus
- Ability to meet billable requirements and adapt to occasional overtime
- Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using technology for research, reporting, and document preparation
- Organized & Independent: Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing outstanding client service
