We are seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer with Web Development experience to join our team and play a key role in our product development. Our mission is to build comprehensive software solutions that serve various needs across the cannabis industry. With over a decade of experience, we are a rapidly expanding company, continuously growing into new markets across the U.S., positioning ourselves as a leader in the industry.
This is an on-site position based in Minneapolis, MN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web application features
- Write high-quality, well-tested code following best practices
- Collaborate with team members on architecture and implementation decisions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 2-3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong computer science fundamentals and software design principles
- Experience building production web applications
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Java, Ruby, Python, C++, etc.)
- Frontend development skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Understanding of database systems and data modeling
- Experience with version control and collaborative development
- Analytical problem-solving approach
- Ability to work effectively in a startup environment
- Comfortable discussing medical and recreational cannabis in a professional setting
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Must commit to working sober – we love cannabis, but we do not get high on the job
Qualifications:
- Computer Science/Engineering Degree and/or related field equivalent preferred
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- React or similar modern frontend framework experience
- Previous work with inventory or resource management systems
- Understanding of API design and implementation
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Pay range: $110,000 - $125,000
