The Machine Learning Research Group at MongoDB is active in a number of areas including information retrieval, application development and modernization via code generation, and database performance. Internships in the ML group typically include a mix of design and implementation work.

What we are looking for in you 

• In the process of receiving a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields. Exceptional Bachelor’s and Master’s students will be considered as well. 
• Have a foundation in ML/AI
• Curiosity with a desire to learn and adapt; you are a self-starter and thrive in ambiguity.
• Must be authorized to work in Australia or New Zealand. Company sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates applying for certain roles

MongoDB internships are full-time (38 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks lasting from dates in December - February. All interns are considered hybrid employees, designated the "in office" working model and are expected to be in their office location 3-5 days a week.
