Employee Experience Generalist

The Employee Experience Coordinator is responsible for providing support to MongoDB’s regional Employee Experience team, supporting our key HR processes. This role will act as an escalation point for individual queries supporting the full region. The position is a great early career role for somebody with outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and embrace change in a fast growing environment. The Ideal candidate has a strong interest in building on their knowledge of HR compliance and HR program management. 

What we are looking for in you

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or someone with experience looking to pursue a relevant HR qualification
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment with changing objectives
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Google Applications, ZenDesk, Success Factors or similar HRIS
  • Prior internship experience working in an HR team, global experience is a plus
  • Fluency in English 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or someone with experience looking to pursue a relevant HR qualification 
  • Familiar with standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Good understanding of basic employment law across both the UK and Ireland
  • Ability to work in a team environment 
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues

What you'll find at MongoDB 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all employees queries
  • Support the Senior HR Manager in building out operational foundations and frameworks for the region
  • Coordinate ad hoc processes and projects specifically related to USA (occupational health, sick leave, probation, training, local projects/events) Collaborate with our global Employee Experience team on various initiatives and projects
  • Collaborate with Recruitment, Benefits, HRSS and payroll teams on ad hoc projects and process 
  • Support employees by answering queries through the Zendesk platform (benefits, payroll, vacation, etc.)
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information is maintained at all the times
  • Use our various HR tools such as Success Factors to ensure the maintenance and integrity of employee data
  • All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned 
  • Membership within our Employee Resource Groups where you can gain mentorship and learning opportunities from employees with a shared background or common identity

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:

$75,000 - $75,000 USD
