M&D Capital is a leading third-party Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management company serving clients across the United States. We operate offices across multiple states, along with a growing international team. We specialize in out-of-network surgical claims, and partner directly with our clients to ensure the maximum reimbursement for their services. We are currently seeking a Chief Data Officer to join our rapidly growing team. This is a full-time, in person position located in Queens, New York.

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned technical manager to lead all data needs supporting a large, multi-office Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) organization. This role is best suited for a senior developer and project manager who has transitioned to executive level. This position will be responsible for overseeing enterprise data infrastructure, analytics, and reporting strategy. This role will lead the design, development, and maintenance of SQL Server data environments, Power BI reporting platforms, and data automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and executive decision-making. The position combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic planning and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, maintenance, and optimization of SQL Server databases
• Build out and manage the Data department
• Oversee ETL processes integrating data from third-party software
• Ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance across multiple offices
• Work closely with finance, executives and cross-functional teams
• Serve as a liaison between the Executive and Technical teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience with SQL Server, Power BI/Fabric
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure)
• Experience in integrating accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and relational database design.
• Master’s in computer science or equivalent
• 6-10+ years’ experience in leading technical teams
• Strategic thinking and business translation of data
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail and data accuracy
• Experience in Healthcare RCM or Medical Billing, preferred

Salary Range

This position offers a salary of $175,000-$2255,000, commensurate with experience.
