About the role:
As a Payer Enrollment Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in the leadership of our enrollment team. The PE team is core to our business and is responsible for making sure payer enrollments run smoothly.
This role reports to the Payer Enrollment Manager and base compensation for this role may land between $64,000 - $90,000. In addition to base salary, Medallion offers equity, and benefits as part of the total compensation package. Many factors are considered when determining pay including: market data, geographic location, skills, qualifications, experience, and level.
Responsibilities:
- Complete health plan enrollment requests, from application retrieval thru notifying clients upon request completion. Including group and individual applications with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial and managed care health plans
- Lead and develop a team of Payer Enrollment Coordinators and Specialists; managing your team’s performance, capacity, and growth targets
- Manage and improve the systems that help support the team’s processes. Current systems include Medallion proprietary and public ones (e.g. Front, GSheets, Salesforce).
- Participate in team meetings alongside other leads to discuss enrollment issues with clients, process improvement changes, and resource planning for new clients
- Lead communication efforts with our clients, facilitating recurring and adhoc client calls to ensure seamless support and engagement
- Works with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex provider enrollment issues as they arise
- Any other reasonably assigned duties
Skills and Requirements:
- 4+ years of payer enrollment experience, including group and individual applications with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial and managed care health plans
- 2+ years of direct people management experience, including performance management and team development
- Experience establishing, tracking, and improving team performance metrics and reporting
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization
- Demonstrated organizational, project management, and resource allocation skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive business objectives forward
- Expertise in using GSuites tools include GSheets, GDocs, and GMail
- Nice to have:
- Provider Enrollment Specialist Certificate (PESC)
- Startup experience
