About Our Opportunity:
MedeAnalytics is seeking an experienced Principal, Provider Strategic Consulting, to join our consulting team, reporting directly to the SVP & Managing Director of Strategic Consulting. This pivotal role will focus on expanding our consulting services within provider organizations, including IDNs, CINs, and the post-acute care market. Additionally, the individual in this role will lead the development of consultative services and sales within the RCM space, driving significant annual consulting revenues in the multi-million-dollar range.
Our ideal candidate brings deep expertise in the healthcare RCM space, backed by extensive consulting experience with healthcare providers and a proven ability to sell consultative services. They possess a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape and have a successful track record of developing RCM-focused assessment offerings while driving sustainable consultative revenue. With a well-established network of C-suite executives and key decision-makers, they excel in building consultative solutions that drive cost reduction and improve operational and clinical efficiency within provider organizations. This individual has a proven ability to lead growth initiatives and cultivate strong client relationships, as reflected in revenue growth, high retention rates, and client satisfaction. Furthermore, they have established themselves as thought leaders through publications, speaking engagements, and impactful contributions to industry initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and execute the consulting division's strategic plans and ensure alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
- Lead consulting sales within all providers in the United States.
- Provide strong leadership across the consulting team, setting objectives and performance standards and encouraging continuous professional growth.
- Lead consulting sales pursuits, writing, gathering and collaborating on market and sales materials.
- Collaborate closely with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and VP of product provider sales to develop scalable and sustainable consulting solutions that drive client value and incremental revenue.
- Partner with the product and data science team(s) to incorporate feedback, evaluate, and advise on product enhancements across the MedeAnalytics portfolio, ensuring that consulting insights contribute to product development.
- Manage an assigned multi-million-dollar annual sales and revenue retention quota, ensuring that revenue targets are met or exceeded while controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, leveraging consulting services to identify expansion opportunities, optimize cross-consulting potential, and drive successful engagements.
- Drive and promote thought leadership at MedeAnalytics, fostering innovation and strategic insights that solidify the company's standing as a leader in healthcare analytics.
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the healthcare consulting industry, adjusting strategies and operations to maintain a competitive edge.
Education, Experience, and Required Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of consulting experience in the healthcare provider landscape, preferably at the VP and/or C-suite level within a large provider organization or top-tier consulting firm.
- Proven success managing a multi-million-dollar new business quota and client retention goals.
- Deep knowledge of the Healthcare RCM space and value-based care models, with a strong ability to sell consultative services.
- Expertise in scaling consulting services within a SaaS-based healthcare model, driving revenue growth.
- Track record of delivering >$4M in ARR, with 50%+ YoY growth in a SaaS and services-driven healthcare company.
- Leadership experience in building, expanding, and mentoring consulting teams.
- Strong sales acumen, leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
- Ability to influence decision-making through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building.
- Customer-focused mindset, with a passion for revenue growth and business success.
- Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
- Inspiring leadership style with the ability to motivate and engage teams.
- Executive presence with strong communication and presentation skills, translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
Additional Information:
MedeAnalytics believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000 USD + uncapped commission opportunities ($125k at plan). Please note that actual compensations for all roles may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, relevant work experience, professional achievements/qualifications, skill level, business need, location and will be finalized at the time of offer.
