Our SVP, Client Success will report to the COO and will be a key member of the Operations team working as a “retention and growth executive.” This role is responsible for retention and generation of leads to expand our client portfolio via existing and new solutions such as our Revenue Cycle Analytics, Value-based Care, Payer Quality, Data Science, and Health Fabric offerings. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with deep domain knowledge who has had success establishing executive-level partnerships and uses a consultative approach to become a trusted advisor with their clients. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and strengthening the company’s client portfolio of existing healthcare clients, including payers, channel partners and providers. The primary focus will be to develop a high performing team, as well as direct ownership of key accounts to drive growth and retention by aligning to client needs, developing strategies that provide insights derived from our modern solutions, and identifying opportunities to expand solution adoption and enhance client value. You’ll play a key role in achieving client success through proactive account management, strategic engagement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams while both managing key accounts and leading a team of Client Success Account Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Growth & Retention Strategy: Develop and execute client-specific growth strategies to increase usage, adoption, and overall value of our healthcare SaaS solutions. Identify and cultivate upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive additional revenue from existing accounts.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor for their business needs, while expanding relationships within each account across the portfolio.
- AI-Driven Insights: Leverage and scale advanced analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of risk within client accounts. Develop scaled methods to consistently present insights to clients, helping them make informed, data-driven decisions and demonstrating the impact of our solutions on their business.
- Product and Solution Expansion: Collaborate with product teams to drive new features, functionality, and product updates, while building and aligning client adoption pipeline.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Sales, Customer Care, and Product teams to ensure seamless client experiences and resolve client inquiries promptly.
- Client Satisfaction and Retention: Monitor client health metrics and proactively address issues to ensure client satisfaction, retention and growth. Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess progress against goals, reinforce value, and maintain alignment on objectives.
- Feedback Loop and Continuous Improvement: Act as the client’s voice internally, providing feedback to inform product development and enhance our offerings. Share insights on client needs, preferences, and emerging industry trends.
- Team development and management: Manage and develop a high performing team with scaled capabilities that drive growth and retention strategies across the company’s portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and/or Masters degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in account management, client success, or a related role within SaaS or healthcare technology organizations.
- Strong strategy development experience working with executive leadership
- Deep understanding of healthcare systems, with experience in SaaS solutions, AI, or data analytics in a healthcare context.
- Strong domain expertise in areas such as healthcare consulting, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), EMR/EHRs, healthcare clearinghouses and revenue cycle (RCM) technology & services companies
- A strong understanding of technology such as data activation, data fabric, public cloud, interoperability, and visualization/analytics solutions (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a significant plus.
- Proven ability to establish, nurture and leverage relationships with client executive leadership and decision-makers.
- Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; Strong communication/presentation skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to translate thoughts, concepts and ideas into understandable, workable information.
- Impeccable service ethic characterized by high energy, a positive attitude and the desire to go “the extra mile” for both internal clients and teammates.
- Experience implementing creative ways to increase pipeline, managing cross-selling analysis, activities and close processes.
- Adaptable to change in a fast-growing company.
- Proven track record of driving growth and retention within an existing client portfolio.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for building strong client relationships.
- Ability to build high performing teams with consistent achievement of goals
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable client recommendations.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, data analytics platforms, and AI applications in account management.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to client success.
