The Senior Business Analyst is a critical client-facing role that will implement cloud-based big data analytic solutions for MedeAnalytics’s healthcare payer and provider clients. This role blends strategic consulting, technical data integration, and dimensional modeling to help clients unlock the full value of their data in cloud-based analytics platforms. You will guide clients through landing data in the cloud (e.g., via SFTP, API, S3 buckets), trace data lineage, join disparate datasets, and design metrics, cubes, and dimensions that align with their business models. You will play a key role in onboarding new clients, translating business requirements into scalable data solutions, and ensuring a smooth transition into our analytics ecosystem.  In addition to leading implementations, you will serve as a trusted partner post-go-live, supporting clients’ day-to-day analytics needs, troubleshooting data issues, and identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement.

As a senior contributor, you will be looked upon to drive internal optimizations, efficiencies, and strategic initiatives, contributing to product and platform evolution, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide clients through secure data ingestion using SFTP, REST APIs, and AWS S3 buckets.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful data landing and transformation in cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Trino).
  • Join and reconcile disparate datasets and trace data lineage from source to target.
  • Collaborate with technical team members to develop or enhance Python scripts used in data validation, transformation, and automation.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of client-specific configurations and data flows.

Analytics Design & Modeling

  • Design dimensional models and OLAP cubes for healthcare analytics (e.g., cost/utilization, risk adjustment, quality).
  • Support dashboard/report development using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and support client decision-making.

Post-Go-Live Support & Optimization

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and coordinate resolution across engineering and testing teams.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization in data pipelines, reporting structures, and metric definitions.
  • Lead internal initiatives to improve onboarding processes, data quality, and client satisfaction.

Essential Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years client-facing consulting, Business Analyst, or Client Service experience; SaaS experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry terminology (e.g., ACGs, diagnosis codes, claims, transactions).
  • Experience working with healthcare data sets and/or provider network systems.
  • Proficiency in Python (e.g., pandas, requests, boto3) and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Trino).
  • Familiarity with data integration protocols (SFTP, REST APIs, cloud storage).

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
