Job Summary
MedElite is seeking a Revenue Operations Analyst to support and improve financial performance by analyzing data across the revenue cycle and collaborating with internal teams and external billing partners. This role involves monitoring billing operations, identifying trends and gaps, and driving process improvements to maximize reimbursement and cash flow. The ideal candidate is analytical, tech-savvy, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between MedElite and its third-party billing company to ensure accurate reporting and issue resolution.
- Analyze billing and collections data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the medical records team to ensure proper documentation supports efficient billing.
- Monitor and report on key revenue cycle metrics (e.g., DSO, denial rate, clean claim rate).
- Provide data-driven recommendations to reduce denials, write-offs, and unsubmitted claims.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and tools for tracking financial and operational KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with payer and regulatory billing requirements.
- Support audits by compiling and analyzing revenue-related documentation.
- Partner with internal operations teams to optimize revenue workflows.
- Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives that enhance revenue cycle performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; background in finance, healthcare administration, or analytics preferred.
- 3+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or financial analytics experience.
- Experience working with third-party billing vendors is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with EHRs and billing systems; EMSOW or Rophe a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
