Role
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to be based in Manila, working directly with the Singapore ISEA hub and reporting into the Business Director in Singapore. Senior Account Managers at MAL must be natural leaders and communicators, able to juggle multiple responsibilities.
This role will be leading the Manila office and be accountable for managing the localisation workstream, which includes project management and delivery of Apple advertising campaigns in the Philippines across multiple product lines, including hardware and services. The Senior Account Manager ensures flawless execution of projects while being the driver of larger objectives of both the client and the agency.
The Work
- Develop a full understanding of the client’s business, market nuances and objectives.
- Liaise on a daily basis within the ISEA hub to manage integrated campaigns and understanding the regulations and legalities for tech, music, gaming and video streaming advertising for the Philippines across all active pods.
- Work with fellow business management team, local planners, creatives, producers, media partners, and MAL global team to represent local market’s point of view throughout the creative development, localisation, censorship clearance and implementation of global campaigns flawlessly.
- Be the face of the Manila office and champion local market insights, trends, and the cultural landscape in order to better represent and advocate the local markets’ point of view – both internally and within the regional/global network.
- Develop a good understanding of media landscape and platforms to ensure flawless implementation of campaigns.
- Build a strong relationship within the business management team, SG hub, and MAL LA to become a trusted member of the team.
- Be excellent in project management and be able to prioritise daily tasks including adhoc work.
- Oversee financial management of the business, and assist with finalising, invoicing and closing jobs per the client’s processes and procedures.
- Execution of all tasks should be done meticulously and tirelessly to ensure the highest possible standards are met.
- Be able to work across time zones to ensure campaigns run smoothly.
