The Account Director in Mexico plays a critical role within the LATAM team, supporting the development and execution of original campaigns across the region. This role exists to translate strategic direction into strong local execution - ensuring work is delivered with clarity, cultural relevance, and operational excellence while upholding Apple’s global standards.
You are a trusted day-to-day partner to Apple Mexico and a steady driver of momentum within the pod. This is a hands-on role - deeply involved in briefs, decks, scopes, timelines, and client communication. You work closely with Creative, Strategy, Media, and Production, as well as partners in LA and Miami, ensuring ideas move efficiently from concept through launch.
Above all, you take ownership of the details that make great work possible, helping the team stay organized, aligned, and moving forward.
The Work
- Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for the Mexico client team, building trusted relationships and ensuring clear, consistent communication.
- Lead the development and execution of origination campaigns for Mexico and LATAM, from brief through launch.
- Partner closely with Creative, Strategy, Media, Production, and cross-regional teams (LA, Miami, global network) to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Translate global strategy into actionable local plans, ensuring cultural relevance and market impact.
- Own timelines, scopes, and budgets in partnership with Project Management, staying close to the details.
- Prepare briefs, build decks, manage feedback loops, and help refine work throughout development.
- Proactively identify risks, surface solutions early, and bring thoughtful, data-informed recommendations to the client.
- Maintain a high standard of quality across all deliverables, ensuring alignment with Apple brand guidelines and creative excellence.
- Monitor category trends, competitive landscape, and regional nuances to inform smarter client conversations.

Qualifications & Skills:
- 5–7+ years of experience in account management within a creative or integrated agency.
- Experience managing integrated campaigns from briefing through production.
- Strong client management skills with the ability to present clearly and confidently in both English and Spanish.
- Experience working on global brands with established identities, adapting work for local markets.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of production processes and cross-functional workflows.
- Experience managing scopes and budgets with attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
