EMR Business Analyst

Job Summary:
As our EMR Business Analyst, you'll work collaboratively with a cohort of clients to support, configure, and optimize their eClinicalWorks environments. We are looking for a strong communicator who can leverage their experience with eClinicalWorks to provide best in class advisory services to our Healthcare clients.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
ANALYSIS
- Conduct observations of users in their environment to identify areas for improvement and suggestions for work-flow redesign.
- Review and coordinate improvement to optimize practice performance metrics and productivity.
- Generate assessment reports including findings, detailed recommendations, and rationale.
- Gather requirements from project sponsors and executives.
- Participate in client discovery and sales calls.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Assist clients to plan and manage tasks to support implementations, integrations, optimizations, data migrations and upgrades.
- Conduct recurring calls to discuss status of tickets and projects. Keep clients informed of new enhancements and settings that will improve their workflows for better patient experience and provide routine updates.
- Track tasks and maintain project materials and client goals.
- Communicate with necessary vendors and assist with keeping vendor tasks on track.
SUPPORT
- Serve as an escalation to our internal team for issue resolution. Performs monthly maintenance, SRA requirements, and provide proactive care.
- Provide remote and onsite issue resolution support for practices who are implementing, optimizing, or upgrading EHR/EPM systems.
- Assist and consult with coordinating practice requests for system modifications, routine updates, Integrated services, and enhancements.
- Supervise an issue knowledge base that documents specific issues and workflows related to the application.
TRAINING
- Oversee, develop, and continuously update training materials for various training sessions (Orientation, Internal Workflows, Practice Workflows, Role Based Workflows, Helpful Hints)
- Conduct classroom style training for users as needed.
- Conduct one-on-one training sessions with users as needed.
- System Administration & Customization (Super user/Admin).
- Maintain knowledge of our standard configurations and processes.
REPORTING
- Ability to train & assist users with running canned basic clinical and financial reports, as well as basic custom reports.
- Connect practice workflows and eClinicalWorks setup with reporting issues and the ability to identify and address areas for improvement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to customize and configure eClinicalWorks to support practice, pay, or reporting requirements.
- Healthcare Technology Specific Skills: Ability to evaluate and analyze eClinicalWorks build, features, and functionality for problem resolution.
- Ability to document clinic processes, work-flow design improvement.
- Knowledge of healthcare best practices related to patient flow, staffing roles, and compliance.
- Knowledge of healthcare data concepts & measures.
- Understanding of the medical billing process.
- Must be a team player and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead a team or engineers as well as work independently.
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize client requests.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
