Associate Clinical Trial Project Manager

Remote - Home Based

Job Summary: Medrio is looking for an engaging and enthusiastic individual who has a passion for sharing knowledge, building relationships through superior project management, and being a customer advocate. In this client-facing role, you will contribute to an evolving Project Management team and manage Medrio database implementations for clinical trials. This role serves both internal and external customers. Ideal candidates have experience with clinical trials in a customer-facing, project management role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain project documentation including creating Kick-Off Meeting presentations, Project Management Plans, meeting Agendas and Minutes, and overall project timelines 
  • Modify template project documentation as required to best serve your individual project.
  • Use judgment and critical thinking skills to determine prioritization in workload that is effective and influences high impact delivery. 
  • Manage EDC, EDC/ Imaging, EDC/Onboarding, EDC/ ePRO, EDC/ eConsent, and Hardware studies.
  • Ensure project plans and meeting notes are accurate, consistent, and easily accessible
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and external partners to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Maintain a professional workspace and ensure cameras remain on for all external client meetings to foster engagement and rapport.
  • Provide proactive communication by setting clear expectations and providing project updates before the client requests them.
  • Respond to all client inquiries within 24 hours of receipt, providing at least a status update if a full resolution is pending.
  • Provide active coverage for fellow Associate Clinical Trial Project Managers during their absences with Team Lead  to ensure seamless project continuity.
  • Ensure thorough hand-offs and documentation are maintained so team members can easily step in for OOO support.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks, providing recommendations for resolutions.
  • Tailor messages for different audiences (e.g., high-level summaries for executives, detailed data for engineers) and maintaining momentum in communication.

Customers or Clients:

  • Customer facing role that requires having the camera on during meetings

Education and Years of Experience:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 -2 years of clinical trial industry experience.

Working Conditions (include any required travel)

  • Remote, US Based 
  • <10% travel for in person team meeting and company wide retreat 
  • Accommodate occasional client meetings outside of normal working hours 

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Project management experience, including stakeholder management, project tracking, risk assessment
  • Critical thinking skills, creative problem solving skills and a solutions-oriented perspective.
  • Excellent writing skills both for clarity and style.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Enjoys working closely with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Salary Range: $68,000 - 75,000 USD
