About the role:

EliseAI’s Analytics team is devoted to driving data-driven decision making across the company. You’ll work with stakeholders making the big choices that drive our growth for years to come, and perform the analysis that identifies strategic opportunities for us. 

As a Data Engineer, you will be a crucial member of our Data and Analytics team, driving our mission to leverage data as a strategic asset. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and analytics, to build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers our decision-making processes. Your work will directly impact how we develop products, optimize our operations, and deliver value to our customers. We are a fully in-office company with a beautiful new office located at E 33rd Street and Park Ave.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and ETL pipelines.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Optimize data flow and collection for cross-functional teams
• Improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality
• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
• Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product
• Implement and maintain data quality checks and monitoring systems
• Develop client-facing reporting solutions

Requirements

Technical skills

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Machine Learning or other quantitative field
• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering
• Solid working knowledge of Python programming and SQL
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Proven experience in data modeling and database design
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based data solutions
• Experience with ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions, particularly Snowflake
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau
• Understanding of development workflows and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data quality management and monitoring tools
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools
• Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and tools
• Experience with real-time data streaming platforms
• Familiarity with DBT, Airflow

Job Compensation Range:

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation inclusive of salary and any bonuses is determined based on a number of factors including experience and skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided by our Recruiting Team during the hiring process.
