Location: Hybrid in NYC (3 day in-office requirement)
Qualifications:
- +5 years of experience as a Product Manager of B2B products for large companies and enterprises
- You’ve worked on partnerships and integration with large companies.
- You’re a storyteller that can articulate problems into stories that people want to care about. And you can write it all down clearly so that R&D can get on the same page.
- You can drive collaboration across multiple disciplines - data, marketing, operations, business development, and sales. You help give everyone a voice, you’re the conductor, not the lead singer, softly leading without forced authority is key.
- You articulate clearly, having honed excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Not just within the team, you’ll also be speaking to our partners regularly to really understand them and their needs.
- You have a strong understanding of all aspects of the product development lifecycle.
Bonus points:
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Experience in Sales / Marketing / BizDev / Customer Success roles.
- Consumer-focused design is in your bones. You can’t help but notice beautifully intuitive products.
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Work closely with large partners to embed and grow the Melio platform into their products and services
- Build the business case for new products and features through market research, competitive analysis, user interviews and other stakeholder feedback.
- Define key metrics to track success or prioritize features.
- Define the business as well as technical requirements for products and features. Write clear and concise product specs, feature cards, and other product documentation.
- Guide and work closely with engineering teams throughout the process of developing delightful payment experiences that customers love.
- Master the partner domain, their user behavior, workflows and jobs to be done to find the perfect context and growth opportunities for the Melio embedded solution
About the team:
The Product department helps set the product vision and strategy. We work alongside a diverse team of engineers, designers and data scientists to envision, build, deliver and scale Melio’s product to the right market. We are user experts and constantly analyze their current and future needs. We define the product roadmap, including features and requirements, and then articulate the business rationale behind it. The team is responsible for providing the ‘what’ and working with the engineering team to build a successful product.
As part of a product team within a fintech company, you’ll have a unique opportunity to make a real impact on Melio, its product, and our users and help the company scale.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead and manage our strategic partnerships, focusing on embedding our product within our partners' ecosystems. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing key partnerships that drive product integration and co-innovation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless integration and alignment with our partners' needs. Your responsibilities will include defining product requirements, prioritizing features, and overseeing the implementation of embedded solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of managing large-scale partnerships.
