Account Executive - UHV Payors
Account Executive - UHV Payors
Location: Hybrid in New York City (3 day in-office requirement)
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of proven success in a quota-carrying Account Executive role, with a strong focus on outbound sales and net-new business.
- Experience in an SMB SaaS sales motion is highly welcomed. Bonus: A foundational understanding of the payments industry, fintech, and the high-volume credit cards space is a strong bonus, but not strictly required.
- A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets with clear, quantifiable achievements.
- Fearless on the front lines: You’re not afraid to cold call, follow up persistently, and face rejection head-on. You bring urgency, resilience, and discipline to your pipeline generation.
- A collaborative team player who partners with Product, Marketing, Ops, and Enablement to constantly refine your pitch.
- Deep curiosity and the ability to uncover a prospect’s pain through sharp, insightful discovery questions.
- Highly coachable and committed to growth—hungry to sharpen your skills through feedback, training, and constant iteration.
- Strong communicator with the ability to deliver value-based messaging across mediums: Google Meet, phone, email, LinkedIn, and in person.
- Power user of sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and more.
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Hunt and close new business: Drive outbound prospecting strategies to identify, engage, and win ultra high-value customers. This is an active hunting role, not an “inbound only” seat.
- Own the full sales cycle: From research and outreach to pitching, negotiating, and onboarding. You'll run your deals end-to-end.
- Deliver tailored product demos that speak to the prospect’s pain and articulate the business case for Melio.
- Manage and convert inbound leads, while continuing to build your own pipeline through proactive, daily prospecting.
- Host Google Meet meetings with business owners and stakeholders, lead discovery sessions, and coordinate onboarding to ensure a smooth handoff to post-sale teams.
- Act as the voice of the customer by providing structured feedback to Product and Enablement to continuously improve messaging.
- Consistently hit your monthly and quarterly targets while learning the nuances of the UHV segment.
