Graphic Design Generalist
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
About MeltPlan
MeltPlan is reimagining pre-construction workflows with AI: bringing automation, accuracy, and compliance intelligence into code research, take-offs, estimating, and project planning. Backed by leading investors and industry partners like DPR Construction, we’re building the future of construction tech.
About the Role
Meltplan is looking for a Graphic Design Generalist with strong video and motion design skills to join our growing team. This role is all about bringing our product stories to life — through demo videos, teasers, explainers, and motion-led visuals that simplify complex ideas and make them engaging to watch.
You’ll help define how we communicate visually — designing videos, marketing assets, and product explainers that are both beautiful and crystal clear. A bonus if you can create 3D illustrations or add depth to visuals, but your core strength should be in storytelling through motion, rhythm, and design.
We’re looking for a creative problem-solver who can turn rough ideas into polished visual stories — fast, high-quality, and with attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
- Create demo videos, teasers, product explainers, and motion-led campaigns that communicate our brand and technology clearly.
- Design motion graphics, animations, and short videos for web, social media, and presentations.
- Develop a consistent visual language and design system across video and static formats.
- Create clean, modern visuals — from marketing assets to product storytelling decks.
- Build and manage a visual asset library to streamline design workflows.
- Use AI and creative tools to enhance quality and speed.
- Collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and founders to bring technical ideas to life visually.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in graphic or motion design, with a strong video portfolio (product explainers, teasers, campaigns).
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Creative Suite.
- Working knowledge of Figma for design and collaboration.
- Ability to craft clear, professional visual storytelling across multiple formats.
- Bonus: Experience with 3D illustration or animation tools (Blender, Cinema4D, etc.).
- A self-driven, detail-oriented mindset — someone who gets things done and takes ownership.
- Curiosity to learn new tools and approaches, especially AI-assisted workflows.
Our Culture
- Ownership: We start what we finish — and we finish it well.
- Speed with Quality: We move fast, but never rush craft.
- Collaboration: We work closely across design, product, and business.
- Curiosity: We experiment, learn, and evolve constantly.
- Remote-first: Work from anywhere with full trust and flexibility.
