Member of Staff, Quality Assurance Engineer

MEMX is searching for a  QA Engineer to build test scripts to improve coverage on our newly launched equities exchange. A successful candidate will have the potential to write test scripts and help with functional and non functional QA test activities. The ideal candidate has hands on testing experience at a financial institution, preferably an exchange. 

MEMX currently has a U.S. presence in these states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, & Utah

What You’ll Do 

  • Design effective component, system, functional and application level test scenarios in line with business requirements and rulebook
  • Implement automated testing for all functional areas
  • Maintain Test tools and be able to manage non-prod environments

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree or applicable work experience required
  • Must be flexible to work independently with a team of remote employees
  • 5+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing within Financial Services Technology, preferably an exchange
  • Strong automation skills – preferably Java or Python
  • Strong knowledge of building tests with FIX, Binary, TCP, Multicast protocols
  • Be able to query and compare large datasets
  • Ability to work effectively in a very high paced, start-up environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary: $140,000 – 210,000 USD
