Fundraising & Strategic Finance Intern
Singapore
What is Menyala
Menyala is a Venture Studio headquartered in Singapore, with startups launched around the world. We bring together builders, ideas, network and capital to build disruptive ventures.
What is the role?
As a Fundraising & Strategic Finance Intern, you’ll work at the intersection of venture creation, strategic finance, legal execution, and fundraising. This role offers a rare opportunity to gain exposure to the earliest stages of startup development—where ideas take form, capital is raised, and legal structures are shaped. If you're curious about how startups are structured, funded, and scaled from Day 0, this internship offers a hands-on learning experience inside a team that’s doing just that. We don’t just imagine the future—we build it. We’re a venture studio that creates bold, disruptive startups from the ground up.
Responsibilities
You’ll support our team across three core areas: Fundraising, Finance, and Legal Coordination.

- Help maintain data rooms and ensure investor documents are up-to-date, well-structured, and audit-ready.
- Contribute to building internal templates and tools to streamline the fundraising process across the studio.
2. Finance (Strategic, Not Accounting)

- Support the development of operational models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for early-stage startups.

- Coordinate document workflows to ensure timely legal review and approval for investor-facing materials.
- Help maintain central legal document libraries and ensure ventures are equipped with up-to-date legal templates and resources.
- Contribute to internal processes that support legal clarity and compliance during venture formation and fundraising.
What We’re Looking For
- A self-starter with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Curious about startups, venture capital, and the legal and financial mechanics behind early-stage companies.
- Comfortable working independently in ambiguous situations—and not afraid to ask great questions.
- Strong communicator who enjoys turning data into insights and documents into structured systems.
- Background in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline preferred. Bonus if you’ve taken courses in law, venture capital, or entrepreneurship.
At Menyala, you won’t just observe venture building—you’ll be part of it. This internship offers a front-row seat to how ideas become fundable companies, and how those companies get structured, financed, and launched. You’ll work closely with operators, investors, and legal experts, gaining experience few internships can offer.
If you're excited about turning bold ideas into reality—and learning the mechanics behind the magic—we’d love to hear from you.
