What is the role?

As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you will support the finance team with financial operations, including reporting, reconciliation, and analysis to ensure smooth financial operations. 

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Intern to support our team in financial operations, reporting, and process improvements. This role provides hands-on experience in startup finance while working closely with the finance team.

• Assist in financial reporting, reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Help prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct research on financial best practices and process improvements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Attributes We are looking for Finance & Accounting Interns with the following:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Interest in startup finance and financial operations.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on finance experience, develop key accounting skills, and contribute to a growing company. As part of our 6-month Studio Apprenticeship Program, starting from end of May, you’ll have the chance to work alongside experienced operators in a fast-paced, startup environment. You’ll take ownership of projects, deepen your understanding of financial operations, and see how finance drives the success of a company from the ground up.
