The Head of Canada will lead Meradia’s Canadian practice, driving growth, client engagement, and delivery excellence across investment operations and investment technology transformation. This role will shape and execute market strategy, build high-performing teams, and oversee large-scale transformation programs for asset managers, asset owners, and wealth management firms.

REQUIREMENTS
- Lead Meradia’s Canadian market expansion and define strategic priorities for the region in collaboration with Meradia’s leadership team
- Drive business development, client relationships, and consulting engagements across investment operations, data strategy, and technology modernization.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of transformation programs spanning operating model redesign, regulatory and risk alignment, and AI-enabled process optimization.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing consulting teams with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
- Partner with global leadership to align Canada’s growth strategy with firmwide objectives and capabilities.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- 12 + years of experience across financial services, consulting, and fintech, with a track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Deep expertise in investment operations, wealth management innovation, data strategy, and technology-driven change.
- Proven ability to translate strategic goals into actionable programs that deliver measurable business value.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Proven track record of managing multiple workstreams or programs within consulting projects
- Strong functional, technical, and operational expertise of the investment management industry
- Deep knowledge of front, middle and back-office operations in investment management organizations, with a strong understanding of institutional client reporting
- Strong knowledge of a broad range of investment management products including US and global equities, fixed income and derivative products
- Understanding of multi-currency portfolio accounting and fund administration platforms
- Deep experience in back and middle-office operations, ideally performance measurement, portfolio analytics and/or benchmark relative attribution analysis
- Basic knowledge of data query tools and SQL preferred
- Experienced with financial investment and wealth management tools like, FactSet, RIMES, BNY/Eagle, SIMCORP, Confluence, SS&C products
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- Prior experience in investment management and/or consulting within the industry
- MBA or Master’s degree
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CIPM, CAIA, or PMP
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the financial industry
