Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will support a wide variety of activities ensuring the Denver office operates in a professional and efficient manner. This individual will be the first point of contact in the office for guests and business partners, ensuring they are warmly greeted as they arrive for meeting. Additionally the Coordinator will manage incoming distribution of correspondence, office supply inventory and kitchen equipment service venders.
Essential Job Functions for the Administrative Assistant will include:
- Welcoming visitors in person or on the telephone by greeting, directing and referring them appropriately
- Answering, screening and forwarding incoming telephone calls
- Helping with on-site and local events
- Managing catering and food set-up/clean-up
- Providing office support including receiving, sorting, coordinating and distributing daily mail and deliveries
- Ensuring the reception area is presentable with all necessary stationary and material
- Maintaining office security by following safety procedures
- Assisting in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
- Processing facilities requests
- Performing other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, emailing and faxing
- Other duties as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proven work experience as a receptionist, facilities or Administrative Assistant, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. copy machines and printers)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to interact professionally and personably
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks with accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be flexible and confidential with all matters
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Working Conditions: Professional office environment, working inside, sitting, and standing, will be assigned to a work station, no heavy lifting over 20 lbs.
Salary: Average annual salary range for this position across our locations is: $45,000 to $53,000. Actual base pay within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills and licenses/certifications. This position is also eligible to earn incentive compensation through one of Mercer Advisors’ incentive compensation programs.
The anticipated date that this position will be filled is 8/14/2025.
