Job Summary:

Senior Software Engineer will function as an application developer and data-forward thinker, with deep expertise in back-end development, systems integration, and data-centric architecture.

Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills. Creative engineering balanced with high quality and a customer focus. Must be able to work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time. Strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is looking to grow their career in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Experience functioning as a developer in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
  • Adept at gathering requirements from the business, creating a backlog, and prioritizing new features.  
  • Responsible for configuring, coding, testing, debugging, and creating technical documentation.
  • Technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
  • Understands the business or function for which the application is designed.
  • Instructing, directing, and checking the work of other technical team members.
  • Adept at developing front-end portals, and back-end console development.
  • Experience with programming languages and databases.  
  • Experience building scoped applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Unqork or other low code platforms
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Understanding of software architecture principles
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud experience or equivalent

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in back-end development using .NET Core / .NET 6+ and proficiency in C#ASP.NET, and Entity Framework
  • Proven experience building and integrating systems of records using RESTful APIs and files
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server), T-SQL, and data modeling
  • Experience with data pipelinesETL processes, and integration frameworks
  • Exposure to data governancedata quality, and master data management (MDM) concepts
  • Hands-on experience with Azure or other cloud platforms, especially Azure FunctionsLogic Apps, and Data Factory
  • Proficiency with CI/CDGit, and modern DevOps practices
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and system optimization skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States (required by the federal government for this position).

Working Conditions:  Professional office environment, daytime hours, working inside, standing, and sitting, will be assigned to a work station.
