Job Summary:

The Wealth Management Enablement LMS & Instructional Designer owns the end-to-end lifecycle of learning within Wealth Management—combining enterprise learning management system (LMS) administration with the design and delivery of effective learning solutions. This role develops scalable, blended programs for new hires, acquired employees, and incumbent Advisors and Client Service Staff (CSS); administers and optimizes the LMS and knowledge base; and leads clear, consistent enablement communications across the organization. The role partners closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure training is timely, branded, measurable, and aligned to business goals.  

Essential Job Functions for this role include: 

1. Learning Strategy & Program Design 

  • Conduct needs analysis to determine training priorities, audiences, and deliverables.  
  • Design, develop, and build engaging, blended learning (eLearning, virtual, ILT, microlearning) aligned to operational workflows of advisor teams and corporate resources.  
  • Create and maintain course manuals, quick-reference guides, and curricula/learning paths at scale.  
  • Establish feedback loops and learning effectiveness measures; iterate content based on insights.  
  • Consult with business partners across geographies to define learning strategies, roadmaps, and release plans.  

2. LMS Administration & Governance 

  • Serve as the enterprise LMS expert (navigation, UI, roles/permissions, reporting/analytics).  
  • Manage, maintain, and optimize the LMS: user and group administration, content structure, curricula, assignments, and audits.  
  • Coordinate upgrades and technical releases with the vendor and partner LMS administrators; test, publish, and manage content with appropriate QA.  
  • Train and support other LMS administrators/trainers, document standards and operating procedures.  
  • Monitor and report on training progression and compliance to stakeholders; maintain accurate user/course data.  

3. Content Creation & Management 

  • Develop new learning content and maintain the learning content inventory and database.  
  • Partner with SMEs to translate complex information into accessible learning assets and searchable knowledge articles.  
  • Partner with Marketing/Branding to ensure all learning and knowledge assets reflect approved brand standards.  

4. Training Delivery, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement 

  • Enable leaders and trainers to understand and leverage learning tools, resources, and reports.  
  • Support evaluation of facilitators and programs; cultivate a continuous improvement culture that elevates performance.  
  • Share best practices with the broader learning and development community.  

5. Enablement Communications & Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Champion open, clear, and consistent enablement communication across Wealth Management.  
  • Administrative ownership of periodic enablement newsletters; collect content, finalize messages, and distribute across the company.  
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify training needs and coordinate execution.  

6. Data, Reporting & Insights 

  • Develop standard and ad-hoc LMS and enablement reports/dashboards, track adoption, completion, and impact.  
  • Use data to prioritize content updates, inform strategy, and demonstrate business value.  

7. Corporate Initiatives & Other Duties 

  • Support company initiatives as needed.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High School degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (Education, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business/Administration, Instructional Design, or related). 
  • Experience: 
    • Minimum 3 years in Learning & Development, Training, or Education. 
    • Minimum 2 years in Instructional Design, including eLearning development. 
    • Financial Services or Wealth Management experience strongly preferred. 
  • Platforms/Tools: 
    • Experience with Docebo, Cornerstone, or comparable enterprise LMS platforms preferred. 
    • Experience building SharePoint site pages and/or administering a corporate Knowledge Base preferred. 
  • Skills: 
    • Detail-oriented with strong project/program management capabilities. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to and partner with multiple departments and leadership levels. 
    • Strong prioritization and organizational skills in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. 
    • Ability to foster collaboration, manage stakeholders, and drive clear outcomes. 
    • Demonstrated initiative and ownership; able to work independently and within a team. 
    • Alignment with the company’s strategic direction and long-term goals. 

Work Schedule:

This professional role requires availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Ability to travel up to 10%.

Working Conditions:

Professional office environment, daytime hours, working inside, standing, and sitting, will be assigned to a workstation, no heavy lifting over 20 lbs.
