Accelerators Partnerships Associate - Intern

In this role, you’ll work directly with our Sr. Accelerator Partnerships Manager to engage thousands of ambitious founders as they navigate the fast-paced world of tech startups. You’ll play a key role in enhancing accelerator programs by complementing their curricula, connecting founders with Mercury’s powerful resources, and identifying the unique needs of founders in this fast changing landscape.

Here are some things you’ll do on the job:
- Engage accelerators’ managing directors and investment teams to build Mercury champion in house with our partners
- Immerse yourself in accelerator partners’ activities to understand what’s important to founders, managing directors and investors to better guide our strategy
- Collaborate with Mercury’s Sales team to increase lead warmth and ensure they are equipped with cohort and founder information to increase conversion likelihood
- Strategize what activities can get us the best exposure within accelerator cohorts
- Analyze where we can move the needle most with accelerator cohort product adoption
- Coordinate with Mercury’s Marketing and Community teams on virtual and physical partner engagement and cohort education events
- Organize our complex partner engagement calendar to ensure important partner management activities happen on time and requisite resources are planned in advance
- Partner with Mercury’s Operations teams to optimize reporting and automate workflows for both internal stakeholders and accelerator partner contacts
You should have:
- Formidable analytical skills using Salesforce reports, SQL queried data and spreadsheets
- Extremely strong communications and collaborative skills
- Comfort with making networking, presenting and being in the spotlight a way of life
- Broad systems thinking default paired with focused creative problem solving
- Record of testing/experimenting based on trends you find in data
- Intentional, self-starter personality
- Current enrollment in an MBA program
Big plus if you have:
- Proven working knowledge of SQL
- A background in Sales, CS, Partnerships or other external facing roles
- Experience working with early stage founders or in early stage startups a plus
- Familiarity with building Salesforce reports, low/no-code solution and workflows in Asana, Notion and Slack
Role Details:
- 20 hrs / week
- Jan through May
- Minimum 3 days / week
Our hourly ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.
Our target new hire hourly ranges for this role are the following:
- US employees in any location: $45.00/hour
