Senior Product Manager - New Vertical Growth
In 1979, an engineer named Genrich Altshuller published a culmination of his life's work analysing patents and the sources of innovation called the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving. The idea, based on his experience as an engineer, brought together principles of how to take complex problems and procedurally solve them. The application of these ideas has since led to over 200k new patents and innovations, including the use of Principle #7 (Nested Dolls) to design the honeycomb structure that is now used on airplane wings.
