Senior Product Manager
At Merge, we revolutionize the way B2B companies integrate. Unfamiliar with the integration problem? The average company expects to spend hundreds of hours a year integrating with dozens or more vendors. Alignment between sales, partnerships, product management, design, engineering, and customer success (a lot, right?) is absolutely critical — and a major headache. Integrations are a to-do that goes on and on.
Our Unified API empowers developers to offer integrations with hundreds of platforms instantly. Now we’re hiring for you: an ambitious leader ready to help build, design, and support enterprise-grade software scaled to millions of users.
Merge is seeking a Senior Product Manager eager to push the frontier of our platform's capabilities. You will be a key contributor to advancing our API, integrations infrastructure, and data synchronization engine — working directly with our largest users. You will collaborate closely with engineers, sales, post-sales, design, and product marketing to streamline what we build and how we build it, enhancing our platform's performance and delivering a stellar customer experience.
We believe there is immense potential to expand our platform, both by increasing the number of integrations we support and by deepening the quality and robustness of each integration. This means improving coverage across different systems while also enhancing data accuracy, speed, and reliability. As a PM at Merge, you will sit at the heart of the business, driving 0-to-1 product launches that thrill our customers and shape the future of our company.
What you will do:
- Become an expert in our customers' needs. Champion our users' voices. Proactively identify new use cases and areas of improvement in our product. Collaborate effectively across the company to prioritize effectively, move fast and ship product.
- Be the loud, energetic champion of your space. Communicate regular progress updates, inform the team about broader industry trends, and maintain crisp, clear documentation of what we’ve built and why we’ve built it.
- Embrace and navigate ambiguity. Drive growth forward as the visionary owner and champion of data quality and our integrations infrastructure. Surface key questions to leadership. Clearly articulate available options along with your recommendation when irreversible decisions are on the line. Think in tradeoffs.
- Move with purpose. We are a small-but-mighty team, and every step we take needs to be intentional and thoughtful. Don't be afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in.
- Maintain exceptionally high standards for yourself and for the team. Respond to inquiries, triage feature requests, and ensure effective resolution. Work closely with Sales and Post Sales to ensure our customers are happy and that our API delivers an excellent experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 6+ years of experience in product management
- Strong technical understanding of modern API design and data integration processes.
- A software engineering background or CS degree is a major plus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a high level of polish.
- Excellent analytical skills and a talent for creative problem-solving.
- Keen interest in industry trends and overall product innovation.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
Compensation
- The cash compensation range for this role is $175,000 - $195,000.
- Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all employees receive an equity compensation package.
Benefits
- Unlimited PTO + 10 company holidays
- 100% covered health, vision, and dental insurance
- 401K Plan
- $200 one-time home office stipend
- Free dinner when working past 7pm
