As our Email and SMS Intern, you will…
Play a vital role in ensuring the success of our clients' email and SMS campaigns. You'll work closely with our team of strategists to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
Be Accountable and Responsible
- Help meticulously review and test emails and SMS messages before they're sent, ensuring accuracy and optimal performance
- Extract data from platforms like Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Attentive to create insightful reports on campaign effectiveness
- Compile and present reports to our internal team, which will then be shared with clients
- Assist in building client-facing decks, collaborating with strategists to showcase campaign results and strategies
- Learn and apply email and SMS marketing best practices, contributing to the development of our internal knowledge base
These are the qualifications we’re looking for
- Currently enrolled and working towards an undergraduate (rising junior or rising senior) or recent graduate from an accredited college/university who wants to gain experience from an Advertising Agency and bring great experiences to life for people and businesses
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce or retail marketing
- Basic understanding of email, SMS, and/or CRM marketing principles
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in basic analytical tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
- Strong organizational abilities
- A genuine eagerness to learn and grow
- First Generation college students strongly encouraged to apply
- The internship program will be hybrid—approximately 2 days/week in office
- MERGE does not provide any form of housing reimbursement/stipend
- You must be eligible to work in the United States to be considered for this role
Paid Internship: $18.81/hr
Duration: 10 weeks between June 2, 2025 - August 7, 2025, 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday)
