As our Manager, TechOps Engineering, you will...

Lead the charge in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure DevOps infrastructure that supports our client-facing solutions. You will collaborate closely with development teams, architects, and project managers to optimize software delivery pipelines, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure peak performance across our diverse technology portfolio. Your deep expertise in leveraging Atlassian tools will play a pivotal role in driving our operational success and achieving our strategic goals.

Be Accountable and Responsible

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) our main hyperscaler, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This includes expertise in virtual machines, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), networking, storage, and serverless technologies
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development & Optimization: Build, maintain, and improve automated continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for various applications, leveraging tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Cloud Build, etc., and integrating with Atlassian products where appropriate
  • CMS Environment Management (Sitecore & AEM): Administer, optimize, and troubleshoot environments for both Sitecore and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning. Experience with both Sitecore XP/XM and related infrastructure is highly desirable
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., OpsGenie, Google SecOps, JSM, Snyk & Datadog) to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and operational issues, integrating alerts with Jira for streamlined incident management
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Pulumi to ensure consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled infrastructure deployments
  • Automation: Automate routine operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning to minimize manual effort and improve efficiency, often driven by workflows within Jira or Confluence
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices across all cloud environments and applications, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and client requirements
  • Collaboration & Support: Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth application deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and provide technical guidance on infrastructure best practices. Utilize Jira for ticketing, task management, and sprint planning. Participate in on-call rotations as needed
  • Google Gemini & GCP AI/ML Integration: Support the deployment and operationalization of solutions leveraging Google Gemini and other various GCP AI/ML technologies, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization
  • Atlassian Tooling Integration & Optimization: Leverage and optimize Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Management) for project tracking, task management, documentation, code repository management, and incident response
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures within Confluence

These are the qualifications we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong expertise in at least Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with experience in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools and methodologies
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with database administration (BigQuery, and SQL)
  • Demonstrable experience working with Atlassian products, including Jira (for project and issue tracking), Confluence (for documentation), Jira Service Manager (JSM for ticketing)
  • Understand Github (for source code management)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • An understanding that documentation is a major part of this role

Bonus Points for…

  • Experience with Sitecore development, administration, or deployment
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) administration, deployment, or development
  • Familiarity with Google Gemini or other GCP AI/ML services
  • Certifications in GCP, Azure, or AWS (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional)
  • Experience with Jira Service Management for ITIL-aligned processes
  • Experience working in an agency environment or with multiple client projects
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing)

The salary range for this role is $76,000 - $91,250, based on the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
