At MERGE, we strive to create a superior work experience where talented and ambitious people grow. An experience that encourages people to think higher and feel deeper. An experience where people engage their minds and hearts to do the best work of their careers.
MERGE is hiring a Associate Director of Paid Social to serve as the primary execution lead for a large enterprise B2B client. This is a client-embedded role based in San Francisco or New York City, working on site with the client’s internal teams while remaining part of MERGE.
This role is designed for a hands-on operator who thrives on precision, structure, and performance. You will execute campaigns at scale with a zero-mistakes mindset. You will understand the strategy but will be accountable for execution excellence.
What You Will Do
- Build, launch, optimize, and maintain paid social campaigns across key platforms (with a heavy focus on LinkedIn and Meta, plus others as needed).
- Execute day-to-day campaign management with enterprise-level rigor, including: trafficking and QA, budget management and pacing, conversion tracking validation, naming conventions, and build standards
- Activate campaigns against defined audience, creative, and testing frameworks, ensuring clean execution and consistent learning capture.
- Monitor performance closely and identify issues before they impact delivery, proactively troubleshooting platform, tracking, or creative-related challenges.
- Partner with senior channel leadership and analytics teams to implement optimization and experimentation plans, including structured A/B tests and ongoing iteration.
- Produce clear, reliable reporting that connects metrics to insights—highlighting what’s working, what’s not, and what changes are recommended next.
- Maintain strong operational hygiene through documentation, tagging governance, and process discipline to ensure scalability across business units.
- Operate as an embedded extension of the client team, building trust through responsiveness, follow-through, and strong attention to detail.
- Operate day-to-day as an embedded extension of the client team.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on paid social execution experience (ideally supporting B2B / enterprise marketing teams).
- Advanced platform expertise across LinkedIn and Meta Campaign Manager (required), with additional experience in other paid social ecosystems.
- Strong working knowledge of B2B measurement and optimization, including funnel-based KPIs, conversion tracking, and lead quality considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, pacing, and performance with a high degree of ownership and consistency.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong QA instincts and the ability to manage multiple campaigns without sacrificing accuracy.
- Comfortable working in an embedded model, collaborating closely with internal client stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented operator who flags risks early and brings forward recommendations—not just updates.
Why MERGE
Integrated Outcomes is built on the belief that strategy only matters when execution is flawless. You will be supported by advanced analytics, testing frameworks, and senior leadership, but your precision and craftsmanship will directly drive results for a high-profile enterprise client.
