Emerge to the Top of Your Career

At MERGE, we strive to create a superior work experience where talented and ambitious people grow. An experience that encourages people to think higher and feel deeper. An experience where people engage their minds and hearts to do the best work of their careers.

As our Sr. Technical Project Manager you will…

Lead the planning and delivery of internal digital, web, and systems initiatives that support the agency’s operations and long-term scalability. Sitting within the Enterprise Operations team, this role works at the intersection of business needs, technical execution, and operational rigor.

You will partner closely with leadership, Tech Ops, and cross-functional teams to turn complex requirements into clear plans, coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams, and help ensure internal tools and platforms are effective, scalable, and well managed. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong project management discipline, technical fluency, and experience operating in an agency environment where priorities move quickly and teams must stay highly aligned.

Be Accountable and Responsible

  • Own the end-to-end coordination of internal technical projects, including scoping, estimates, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks, and change management
  • Act as a key bridge between leadership and technical teams, translating business priorities into structured execution plans and communicating delivery status, tradeoffs, and risks clearly
  • Partner with Tech Ops and other internal stakeholders to support the delivery and ongoing evolution of internal platforms and tools, including the MERGE Website, AI Garage, Intranet, and other operational systems
  • Coordinate projects across website development, CMS environments, custom applications, internal tools, and marketing technology platforms
  • Support work involving enterprise and marketing systems such as Salesforce, Adobe, HubSpot, ERP and CRM platforms, and other connected applications
  • Bring structure to project delivery across teams by leading planning, estimation, documentation, status reporting, and meeting execution
  • Manage resource planning and capacity coordination across disciplines, helping assign work realistically, balance priorities, and maintain delivery momentum without overloading teams
  • Identify risks, blockers, and scope issues early, and work with stakeholders to resolve them before they impact budgets, timelines, or quality
  • Track project financials, actual hours against plan, and scope changes to support sound operational decision-making and overall delivery health
  • Help enforce consistent agency delivery practices and align project execution with established PMO standards and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen team coordination, and support the implementation of more efficient or AI-enabled operational processes where appropriate

What success looks like

  • Internal projects are delivered with clear plans, realistic timelines, and strong coordination across teams
  • Leadership and stakeholders have visibility into progress, risks, resource needs, and scope changes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Resource planning is proactive, balanced, and responsive to changing priorities
  • Delivery processes become more consistent, efficient, and scalable over time, with lessons learned shared across teams
  • Internal platforms and operational systems are supported by disciplined project execution that improves usability, reliability, and business value

These are the qualifications we’re looking for

  • 6+ years of experience in technical project management, digital operations, or similar, within an agency, enterprise, or complex cross-functional environment
  • Strong experience managing technical projects from kickoff through delivery, including scoping, estimation, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication
  • Proven ability to work across disciplines such as Engineering, Creative, Data, Client Experience, Finance, Talent, and Operations to align delivery with broader business goals
  • Experience with resource planning, capacity management, and coordinating work across multiple teams and competing priorities
  • Familiarity with website development, CMS platforms, marketing technology ecosystems, custom applications, and internal business systems
  • Working knowledge of modern software delivery practices and the SDLC, including Agile, Waterfall, and evolving AI-enabled workflows
  • General familiarity with technical environments such as GCP, Firebase, CRM and ERP systems, and integrated marketing platforms
  • Ability to translate technical constraints into business implications and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong judgment, organization, and follow-through, with a practical approach to solving problems and improving how work gets done
  • Familiarity working in environments with data privacy, security, and compliance considerations such as GDPR, SOC2, and CCPA

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
