Meridian is reimagining global financial services and building products that extend beyond traditional payment barriers. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team. This is your opportunity to join a fast moving, well funded Seed stage startup changing the landscape of global payments.

About The Role

Meridians Remittance product team is looking for a Product Manager that has the potential to exponentially grow our footprint. You would have demonstrated expertise taking platform products from idea to production and scale, using qualitative and quantitative data to inform product strategy, and developing experiences that delight our customers and consumers. You will be the right fit if you take first principles approach to building scalable products with operational excellence, love the challenge and ambiguity of building a new product, have a passion to create an outsized impact for customers and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.

You will report to the Chief Product Officer and will have a dedicated engineering team to achieve your roadmap and goals.

You Will

  • Understand needs of both external partners and end consumers, and the competitive landscape. Apply this understanding to guide product design, roadmap and lead prioritization across multiple development teams.
  • Lead end-to-end hypothesis driven product development, from ideation, execution, and in market products by collaborating with engineering, design, analytics, sales and other team members.
  • Ensure quality of execution and product operations are running smoothly across all corridors.
  • Define and prioritize features, problem spaces, and requirements based on market research, customer feedback, strategic goals and company OKRs.
  • Collaborate with and influence several teams across Meridian to further extend Meridians platform capabilities to achieve the goals of expanding the business across multiple geographic corridors.
  • Collaborate with our geographically diverse customer base of receiving wallets to continuously deploy a single application to multiple geographies.
  • Develop and communicate the product and go-to-market strategy as we launch new products into new markets, ensuring that it remains aligned to company strategy and overall mission.

You Have

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • 3+ years of experience building consumer-facing platform products (SDK, API, or Data Schema experience required)
  • Strong track record of successfully delivering and scaling platform products along with understanding of embedded mobile/web interfaces
  • Experience launching new Products from ideation through scaling
  • You are not only able to shape a high-level strategic initiative, but can also roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • You can sweat the details to understand the impacts of tough technical tradeoffs and find a careful balance between short-term outcomes and long-term impact
  • You find joy in building partnerships and motivating teams across engineering, UI design, analytics and several teams
  • You can make judgment calls in the absence of data and are not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities
  • You strive for the big picture, don’t get hung up on singular ideas, and are highly adaptable to changing markets and opportunities.

Compensation Details

We offer a highly competitive total compensation package composed of base salary, equity, and benefits package. The hiring manager can share more information about health benefits offered, as well as other financial benefits and total compensation components offered with this role.
