Job Title: Fleet Administrator
Reports To: Fleet Safety Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Shared Services Office, Irving, TX
Summary:
The Fleet Administrator will have significant interactions across the company with the Fleet manager, operations managers, general managers, suppliers and service providers. The Fleet Administrator will assist the Fleet Manager in maintaining a robust, efficient, and professional fleet across all operating companies of Meriton, as well as overseeing the equipment and vehicle operations. The Fleet Administrator will need to be analytical and multi-tasking to thrive and succeed in this role. Establishes and maintains partnerships with a cooperative and positive attitude toward customers, vendors, employees, and the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains a professional relationship with the key suppliers and service providers facilitating costs and services in the best interest of the company.
- Utilizes fleet software to track the history of equipment inventory and costs.
- Supports compliance and fleet maintenance in a cost-effective and safe manner.
- Sustains supplier challenges as necessary.
- Administers the acquisition and disposal of company vehicles.
- Maintains accurate inventories of vehicles, registrations, and titles.
- Reports to management of the routine problems that arise in the normal course of business related to vehicles and equipment.
- Coordinates vehicle inspection, licensing, titles, insurance paperwork.
- Completes vehicle inspections and document results.
- Monitors maintenance schedules, accurate inventory of vehicles, and other activities that support the operations of the equipment.

Education/Experience:
- Associate's degree preferred
- 2 years of administrative experience minimum.
- Fleet or fleet coordination related, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Knowledge of fleet management software is helpful
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Must be a self-starter and change agent with a process orientation, who can work in a team environment
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

The workplace is in a corporate office environment and the temperature in the work environment is usually moderate. The position’s primary office is the Shared Services, Irving, TX office; however, telework or work at home, on the road, or in a satellite location for portions of the workweek may occur, depending upon project needs and requirements in coordination with your direct supervisor and/or most senior leader of your department. Must be able to travel overnight at leave up to 10% of the time.
