Accounts Receivable Manager
Reports to: Head of Working Capital
Location: Irving, TX
FLSA Status: Exempt

The Opportunity
We are seeking a strong Accounts Receivable Manager. Must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and have excellent organizational skills. Accuracy and attention to detail is a must. Must be a proven A/R leader, able to leverage technology and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment, high growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections and cash application, customer inquiries, and reconciliations.
- Establish metric-driven processes and deliver on service-level targets and customer KPIs
- Support an improved cash conversion cycle; work to reduce DSO while maintaining excellent service to all stakeholders internally and externally.
- Lead and mentor local and off-site staff members, including performance management, coaching, and mentoring both on site and at portfolio companies.
- Provide leadership and support change management with rapid growth.
- Lead month-end close process for clean cutoff procedures and analysis for AR subledger.
- Maintain a strong control environment to support Meriton policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in high volume accounts receivables environment
- 5+ years supervisory experience over transactional accounts receivable team
- Shared services experience a plus
- Experience with integrated ERP, Microsoft D365 a plus
- Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Analytical and reports skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be comfortable working in the office 5 days per week

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
