The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager (GM) to lead our Card & Loyalty business lines. This executive role is pivotal in shaping the future of Mesa's credit card offerings and loyalty programs, ensuring they deliver exceptional value to homeowners.
How you’ll make an impact
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the vision and strategy for Mesa’s credit card and loyalty programs, aligning with the company’s mission to enhance the homeowner experience.
- Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of credit card products, from ideation and design to launch and iteration, ensuring they meet market needs and regulatory standards.
- Partnership Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key partners, including banks, payment processors, and loyalty program affiliates, to expand Mesa’s ecosystem and enhance product offerings.
- Customer Experience: Lead initiatives to continuously improve the customer journey, leveraging data analytics and customer feedback to optimize product features and benefits.
- Financial Oversight: Own and manage the P&L for the Cards & Loyalty business lines, setting and achieving financial targets, and ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture consistent with Mesa’s values.
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years in p&l ownership, product management, loyalty programs, or financial services, with a proven track record of launching and scaling credit card products.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling to inform decision-making and measure program success.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the credit card industry, loyalty program mechanics, and the fintech landscape.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
