About the Role

Meshy is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Account Director - Games to join the newly formed managed sales team. This is a growth-oriented hunter role, selling a fantastic new gen AI product to a rapidly expanding market on an uncapped commission plan.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Account Director will be primarily responsible for bringing on new gaming studios and evangelizing Meshy to the industry. This role requires credibility, technical acumen, and an existing network with game developers to support a targeted and strategic approach to hitting aggressive growth objectives. Preference for candidates with established ties to Unreal devs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with game developers and position Meshy as an indispensable tool for prototyping and production.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy deal pipeline.
  • Accurately forecast and report on your business.
  • Represent Meshy at industry events and conferences.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and product development.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 8+ years of sales experience, 5+ years within the games industry, preferably working directly with developers.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep network of industry contacts.
  • Technical aptitude to run your own demos and engage on concepts related to generative AI as well as 3D creation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup environment where you will wear many hats.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal/presentation.
  • Ability to work independently with integrity and trust.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings and events.
