Senior Compliance Officer

Responsibilities

      1. Compliance & Regulatory Management

• Design and implement compliance procedures aligned with applicable MAS fund management company regulations for Metabit Asset Management Pte Ltd, its managed funds as well as its beneficial owners (the "Group)
• Enhance the Group's compliance framework, including policies, controls and monitoring processes on an on-going basis 

      2. Governance & Reporting

• Support senior management in risk assessment, compliance training and make regulatory filings
• Maintain documentation and records required for internal audits, or regulatory inspections including monitoring of electronic communications and trade activity
• Ensure KYC/AML compliance 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, or related discipline from a globally recognised university 
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in MAS licensed fund management company within a hedge fund, family office, compliance advisory firm, regulator or similar experience accretive institution
• Familiarity with MAS regulations (including LFMC and AML/CFT) and fund compliance best practices
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and high-performing team
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Nice to haves 

• Experience in risk management and an understanding of risk principles, control frameworks for MAS, specifically in market, liquidity, technology and credit risk management
• Understanding of quant hedge fund operations and processes
