Senior Sales Development Representative

About the role

The Sales Development Representative performs a high-volume of phone and email engagements, actively using their discovery and listening skills, to identify potential customers, generate net new opportunities which are passed to their region’s sales team.

What will you be doing?

  • Prospect, qualify and develop leads into sales-ready opportunities
  • Establish and build rapport with prospects via telephone, email and live chat
  • Calling / emailing Prospects and answering Prospect calls and emails
  • Successfully manage and overcome sales objections to develop interest
  • Transform received leads into qualified sales opportunities
  • Research target companies, contacts and accounts
  • Document all activities in Salesforce to ensure efficient lead management
  • Capture accurate and complete Prospect information.
  • Salesforce Activity Notes, Lead Stage change and Opportunity builds
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new opportunity generation metrics

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a Sales Development (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR).
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and excited about being in a startup environment
  • Goal-oriented and self-starter with a proven work ethic
  • Excellent telephone and personal demeanor
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and identify a problem's most fundamental elements
  • Ability to uncover business pain points and identify solutions
  • Ability to overcome challenges and determination to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study a plus
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce, shipping, and/or B2B SaaS products
  • Proactive, well-organized, and strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change
